QATALYSTOpen Research Program · Accepting applications for Fall 2026

Your own workspace,
open for research

QATALYST gives individual researchers and students their own workspace on the QCentroid platform and access to the LaunchPad IDE, with no fixed licence fees. You sign up with a research use case of your own, it becomes the first one in your workspace, and credits are spent only when a job actually runs.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need to be affiliated with a university?

No. Academic affiliation is valued, but independent researchers and early-stage teams with a concrete project are welcome to apply.

What does access include?

An individual QCentroid account with a personal workspace, your first use case created from what you tell us at sign-up, an initial allocation of complimentary credits, the Classic CPU provider for running jobs, and access to the LaunchPad IDE. It is an individual account: you cannot invite others into your workspace, and the available SDKs are the ones QATALYST includes.

What happens right after I apply?

You go straight to platform sign-up with your details prefilled. Choose a password, confirm your email and your workspace is ready.

What do you ask in return?

That you acknowledge QCentroid in publications and outputs derived from the work. Your scientific independence is never compromised: we never require positive results about the platform.
